Sendayan Metro Park consists of 3 types of development components - retail lots, office suites and SOHO units contained in a podium and tower configuration.

Retail

Retail lots are located on the ground and lower ground floors which enjoy exposure from the main access road and the existing housing area to the north of the site. These fully glazed retail lots front the continuous stepped promenade which broadens out to accommodate al-fresco dining.

Office and SOHO units

Office and SOHO units are housed in typical blocks located on the podium roof level which will be densely landscaped creating a microclimate of sorts, allowing office workers and visitors ample outdoor recreation space. The North-south orientation of the blocks is attributed to the aim of minimising solar heat gain through the large glazing areas. In order to break the monotony of this severe axis, a varied and playful facade which is both functional and iconic is provided.

These Office and SOHO units are expressed on their facade by glazed boxes with varied protrusions. This protruding box concept allows the internal volumes to be expressed externally so that the building could be read as a unity of individual establishments, both big and small. The use of a single finishing further tie the boxes together so as not to create excessive chaos, thus projecting a sense of adventure amidst the seriousness.
